Vicolo Fiore Affittacamere II terletak di Matera, 8-minit berjalan kaki dari Palombaro Lungo dan 700m dari Gereja San Pietro Caveoso. The room was as pictured and exceptionally clean! The beds were comfy with down pillows and comforters. The bathroom was nice with a very hot shower. The room even had a tiny fridge for drinks and an espresso machine. Outlets next to the beds were very convenient! The location of the hotel was about a 5 minute walk to the city center and a 10 minute walk to Sassi, Matera. There was a parking garage around the corner about a 2 min walk away which was also extremely convenient. Very pleased all around with this room!

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The owners were very helpful in giving advice about the area. The location is ideal for visiting Matera - a beautiful ancient city although I imagine it might get very crowded in the height of the summer season. Breakfast was excellent.

The place is very well located, just a few minutes walk to the old town. The room with the terrace we booked had an amazing view. The hosts were helpful and suggested a good parking place close by.

This place is strategically located half way from the Matera central station on the downhill way to the city centre, in five minutes walking distance to both places, with everything you may need for your stay easily reachable on foot. It looks like the apartment in the residential building has been rebuilt to serve as an interesting concept of a mini hotel with a couple of comfortable, pleasant and quiet rooms, and the common space with the front desk and a small dining area, offering the free access to coffee/tea machine around the clock. The staff provided the luggage storage and texted us as soon as the room was ready, which we appreciated very much. If we find the time to visit Matera again, we'll definitely book this place again.

Casa Blanca Matera offers accommodation in Matera, at walking distance from the Sassi di Matera area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. WiFi is free throughout. The best breakfast during our 2 weeks in Italy. Room was perfect and window opened to a private courtyard if you wanted fresh air at night. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for reaching Matera in a 10 minute walk.

Antica Mateola terletak di Matera, 2.1km dari Matera Cathedral dan 2.1km dari MUSMA Museum. The hosts were incredibly helpful and punctual with the check-in. They gave us a map and explained how to reach all the nearby attractions. They also recommended some great places to eat. In the morning, they brought us fresh croissants, and there was aromatic coffee available at all times – what more could you need for a romantic getaway? The ancient city of Meteora isn’t too far, and we had free parking right in front of the property, so we’re more than satisfied. We’d love to visit again! Thank you!

Le Dimore Dell' Idris is situated in the Sassi area of Matera and offers individually furnished rooms with a private entrance and private bathroom with sensory shower. We had the most beautiful Cave Suite one can imagine. Good bed, good bathroom, everything very clean. The Lady at the Reception was very nice and helpful and gave good information for visiting Matera. Breakfast on the terrace was great. Matera is special, magical. It was a unique experience.

Set in a restored Tuff-stone building, Hydria Rooms is a guest house located in Matera, 60 metres from Sasso Barisano. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Luxury room with bathtub in the room. Perfect lighting in the room, bathtub and bathroom! It has a door/window even though the room is in a renovated old house. Very easy entering the room- both electronic and keys. Complementary coffee, tea, water and cleaning everyday. The reality is better than in the pictures
