This family-run guest house, off the Ring Road in southeast Iceland, is 7 km from Höfn. Free WiFi is available. Good location, very close to Hofn. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. If you are not too tired and have a few minutes to spare, I recommend you read "The Story of the House" (it had no title, so the name is not real). The owner was more than dedicated when she shared details about both the history of the house and the family, but also small details about Icelandic life. Haukaberg House is one of the places where we would return with the greatest pleasure.

Vagnsstadir Guesthouse offers accommodation in Borgarhöfn. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. The guesthouse has pet horses living on site. Jökulsárlón is just a 20-minute drive away. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfy. The breakfast was good. This guesthouse was a very good choice.

Great location, nice staff. We saw the most amazing Aurora of our lives there! I knew I would arrive at the hotel after the kitchen was closed, so I called them, they’ve sent me the menu by WhatsApp and let me order my dinner! So when we arrived they had everything ready for me to take the dinner away to my room.

That is not a Hostel, that’s a Hotel beautiful facilities and verify comfortable space. Really a recharging place after coming all the way from Egilsstaðir to Höfn.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. This place far exceeded our expectations. You enter your room directly from the outside so you never bother neighbours. The exterior wall is mostly glass with beautiful views. The room is very comfortable and the beds had to be the best in the trip, even the floor was comfortable! The bathroom was large and had everything. We didn't miss a thing! And the shared spaces are marvelous too, the dining room is very pleasant and well equipped, you have a kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave as well as dishes and cutlery. The woman who prepares breakfast (she arrived as we left) was very helpful and agreeable too. I only wish our stay had been longer!

Set next to Hof turf church, this hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Skaftafell National Park is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel. Cape of Ingolfshöfdi is 3 km away. The room looked much better that the building (buildings) from the outside. Those looked bit older, but inside it's very nice and I think also renovated. Everything was very, very clean, huge thanks for that. and the receptionist? Keep him!!! Welcomed us very nice receptionist who spoke at least 4 different languages, it was the end of the day and he had still huge smile on his face, very patience, knew how to multitask because he was able to serve 6 different customers almost at the same time. He was doing receptionist, giving advices to other visitors, act as a waiter because we asked him for a beers, so really amazing stuff. Breakfast are also nice and you can choose whatever you want :)
