Kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to make a few meals. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful natural surroundings. Laundry room available with a dryer which was excellent.

Located along the coastline, Við Hafið Guesthouse offers accommodation in Ólafsvík. Guests can benefit from free WiFi. Rooms feature either a view of the sea or mountains. Perfect location right at the sea front. We stayed one night in a downstairs apartment with a private bathroom and it was a good sized room, spotless and very quiet. There was plenty of free parking on site. The facilities were clean and modern and checkin was efficient and friendly. The local supermarket was within walking distance and we had dinner at Sker restaurant which was again very close to the hotel. Food, view and ambience at Sker were all great. We would have liked to stay another night but unfortunately the place was booked out.

This family run guesthouse sits scenically on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on Iceland’s western coast, and features views of the surrounding nature from all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi. The dinner was so amazing, they have a great variety of local and fresh dishes.
