Offering a garden and garden view, Casa Dísa - Dreams, A Boutique Guesthouse in Reykjavik City`s Central Park and Botanical Garden in Laugardalur, Hot-Spring-Valley is set in Reykjavík, 4.5 km from Solfar Sun Voyager and 4.7 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the homestay free of charge. The property offers allergy-free units and is located 4.5 km from The Pearl. Throughout the check-in process, everything was extremely smooth and Disa was able to help us check in to the property even when she was out. There was a small mistake from my end as I had booked the wrong room type but this was also settled very easily with no stress in a friendly and agreeable way. The property itself is wonderful and very recently renovated and very tidy, it’s the perfect door into the real Rekajavik and you get a very warm and friendly hug like being at home, which is really what you want. Disa made the effort to even take us out to a concert to truly experience Icelandic culture. That was special and unique. Disa goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable and happy. So much so that when we returned to the capital we had booked a different property which was really below any reasonable standards I connected Disa straight away and was able to experience this wonderful property for a second time. Excellent property, excellent owner, excellent location.

Set in Kjósahreppur, 45 km from Thingvellir National Park, Hvammsvík Nature Resort has a private beach area, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city centre is 14 km away.

All rooms at Hlid Fisherman's Village provide tea/coffee amenities and sea views. Each room has a private bathroom with shower. Of the ten locations we stayed in Iceland this was our favourite. If I could give it 11 ot of 10 I would. It is the kind of place I would move to Iceland to live in. Beautiful scenery; quiet - you could not tell that you were 10 minutes from central Reykjaiv. You feel like you are a millionaire - beautiful beach to stroll along; horses to pet a golf course to walk around. There is even a sauna and hot tubs. The room was great with a lovely en-suite.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking distance from all the best Reykjavik has to offer, whether it’s Museums, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Shopping Streets, Parks, the BSi bus station, Geothermal Swimming pools or Lake Tjörnin, and yet positioned in a quiet area of the center. The location is very convenient, and the owner, Nick, is very friendly and helpful. The room is also well-appointed, with sturdy furniture, a kettle, and a sink inside the room.

Situated in Reykjavik’s old city centre, this family-run property is across the street from Hallgrim’s Church. It offers a communal kitchen, as well as modern and fresh rooms with wooden furnishings.

The simply decorated rooms at Guesthouse Sunna feature either private or shared bathroom facilities. All have free Wi-Fi, while some have a TV, a fridge, or a tea/coffee maker. All rooms have access to a communal kitchen. Apartment was bigger than we expected and a great size for 4 adults. Good facilities, very comfortable and location was fantastic. Only a 5 in stroll from Hallgrimskirkja church. Good selection for breakfast, which set us up nicely each day. Location overall was great, no more than 15 min walk to the concert hall with lots of great bars/cafes and restaurants were all within a short stroll. Highly recommend

Guesthouse Galtafell offers both rooms and self-catering apartments with wooden floors, an iron and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Apartments include a private bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Walkable location to downtown Reykjavik, which is great! Very warm, comfortable, and clean. We arrived late and they were very accommodating and flexible with our check in. They also generous upgraded our room, as we were on our honeymoon. Would love to return again!

Audur Guesthouse is situated in the Reykjavík East district of Reykjavík, 2.1 km from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach, 700 metres from Hallgrímskirkja Church and 1.4 km from Solfar Sun Voyager. This guest house features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Blue Lagoon is 47 km from the guest house and Harpa Concert Hall & Conference Centre is 1.9 km away. We had a very clean and beautiful room, the hosts were super helpful and responsive at all times. Amazing fresh breakfast, the only thing that may need improvement is the breakfast bread was burned on the bottom every day we got breakfast. Other than that we had a blast!

A recently renovated property, NN Urban Guesthouse is located in Reykjavík near Solfar Sun Voyager, Hallgrímskirkja Church and The Pearl. It is set 2.9 km from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach and provides a shared kitchen. Blue Lagoon is 47 km from the guest house and Reykjavik Old Harbour is 2.6 km away. Brilliant use of a small space with lots of smart ideas. Particularly impressed by the wall coffee/tea/kitchenette station and the storage under the bed. Bed was very comfortable, not much motion transfer from person sleeping next to me.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Reykjavík, Ubak Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. The property features a garden, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 5.3 km from The Pearl. The guest house has family rooms. Everything was fine, but you have to understand that it is a common place and you will always share it with other people. It is ok if no more than 2 rooms are booked, but if all the rooms are occupied, it will be quite difficult to cook in a small kitchen and use the facilities.
