Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. This guesthouse was my best stay during the trip. Amazing location, view, amenities and layout. It was a beautiful room. It was better than the fancier/pricier hotels that I stayed in.

Lyngás Guesthouse is located by Route 1 in Egilsstadir, East Iceland. It offers free parking, a shared kitchen and basic rooms with free WiFi. Lyngas guesthouse was just great. Clean, perfectly equipped kitchen with the dinning area, room was great as well as all the facilities. I'd definitely recommend to anyone.

Set in a peaceful, natural setting, Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir and the local airport. What a beautiful area - slightly off the city centre but surrounded by woods and forest trails. There is a wonderful walking trail right around the property. Gorgeous garden to sit and relax in the evening. And Hallormsstaður forest is 20 mins close. Hengifoss, studlagil are all nearby. Friendly staff. (We could get the most of the property because we were lucky with great weather)
