Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Amazing remote location, with fjords and sea view. Not sure what other types of rooms are there, but ocean view is really worth it, it is breathtaking. Amazing modern, clean room, everything super comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best and most varied throughout our ring road trip. Really nice staff.

A super modern place, furbished with superb quality and style. The room is beautiful, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are three bathrooms, one of which is HUGE. The owner is really attentive, hard-working and ready to help you with anything you may need. It's the only apartment we stayed in during our trip around Iceland in which we could use a washing machine and a dryer. The fact that you share bathroom and kitchen with other guests might be a nuisance if you're on a tight schedule and these are occupied by other guests. However, this rarely happened, and with three bathrooms for 5 rooms, we only had to wait a bit to use the spacious kitchen a couple of times in 3 days because we were really unlucky and everyone wanted to cook at the same time. :-)

During our Icelandic journey, we had the pleasure of staying at Við Lónið Guesthouse in Seyðisfjörður, a town renowned for its rich history and picturesque landscapes. The guesthouse, housed in a building constructed in 1907 and imported from Norway, exudes historical charm, having previously served as a clothing and convenience store, art studio, and café. Our room was a testament to Scandinavian minimalist design, featuring original wood furnishings that added warmth and authenticity. The private bathroom was well-appointed with a walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries. The highlight was the balcony, offering breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding mountains, providing a serene backdrop to our stay. The guesthouse’s central location proved advantageous, with Seyðisfjörður Harbour and the iconic Blue Church just a short stroll away, making it an excellent base for exploring local attractions. The self-check-in process was seamless, allowing us to settle in without delay. Adding to the charm of our stay was a local cat that seemed to own the street. This regal feline often caught the attention of tourists, adding a unique and endearing touch to our experience.

Beautiful room with a warm atmosphere. There was a water shut down in town. The staff were immediately there for us and the whole episode was sorted out within less than an hour

Hóll mempunyai pemandangan gunung, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Óbyggðasetur, 15km dari Hengifoss. We were finally able to do our laundry! But aside from that, we had an entire gorgeous house to ourselves. Nice to feel like we were relaxing at home after a string of hotels.

Fjalladýrð Guesthouse mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, restoran dan bar di Modrudalur. It was the perfect place to stay. It was peaceful, stunning, the staff was so lovely and animals were running all around (the reindeer was so cute and asked to be petted). We really enjoyed the shared house (lazy town) we stayed at and we had delicious food at the restaurant. What a unique experience !

Lyngás Guesthouse is located by Route 1 in Egilsstadir, East Iceland. It offers free parking, a shared kitchen and basic rooms with free WiFi. Big rooms, big bed, big kitchen and everything clean. We had good stay here.
