Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Excellent resort in a beautiful small village in East Iceland. Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

The guest house was very spacious, the jacuzzi was hot and ready when we arrived, the hosts were very friendly and allowed the kids to visit the horses in the stable. The property had toys for the kids, a highchair at the table for the baby to eat, and very comfortable home-like charm to it. One of our favorite stays during our Iceland holiday.

This is a small village with great view and not far away to Cayon Stuðlagil. Good breakfast. Very nice and interesting Viking long house style building. Big room and comfy beddings. Wifi not very good but still usable.

Set in a peaceful, natural setting, Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir and the local airport. What a beautiful area - slightly off the city centre but surrounded by woods and forest trails. There is a wonderful walking trail right around the property. Gorgeous garden to sit and relax in the evening. And Hallormsstaður forest is 20 mins close. Hengifoss, studlagil are all nearby. Friendly staff. (We could get the most of the property because we were lucky with great weather)
