Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. The grounds were great, a small creek running thru, sheep in the pasture, the Inn itself was beautiful. Very well cared for. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and were happy to get us whatever we needed. The pub was where we spent many an hour where we were able to get some research work done. Fire in the fireplace every night. The dinner meals we had were yummy. Breakfast was also good with good choices. All said, it was a great four nights and we will be back!

In the heart of the town of Monaghan, the family-owned Ashleigh House offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy access to the garden and outdoor patio area. There is also a communal TV lounge. Very clean room with plenty of fresh clean towels in the ensuite and a lovely breakfast the next morning. I would highly recommend 👌🏻👍🏻

It was just a brief visit for me but Áine's communication was perfect and they kindly accommodated my late arrival. I arrived late and left early so I've little more to say other than I enjoyed my brief stay. I really appreciated Áine leaving out some fruit and breakfast things in the room.
