Indoors or out, you will be surrounded by beauty at this B & B! The host was very helpful. If this is the first place you stay at on your vacation, you might be tempted to use it as the standard to compare the rest!

Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. Everything about this property is fabulous. Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.

In the heart of the town of Monaghan, the family-owned Ashleigh House offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy access to the garden and outdoor patio area. There is also a communal TV lounge. Cosy and welcoming B&B with spacious and well-equipped rooms, very clean and with proper showers. Quick replies to messages, early check-in possible and the friendliest lady at reception, who patiently answered all my questions and offered some advice for a short stay quiet Monday night. Wonderful breakfast with a lot of choices from cereal, fruit and yogurt to full Irish. Living room for the use of guests with books to read and a furry fella to keep you company.
