Free parking was very handy. I was there for 3 nights and found the room great and the bed comfy. There's a kettle, some teas and coffee available along with filtered water as well as some chocolate biscuits. The host was lovely and very accommodating. I enjoyed having a chat with her and she never bothered me. She even kindly gave me a lift into town when I was leaving which really helped me out as I'd left my rental in town the night before so I could drink and had taxi'd it back. The room and house were great. Would definitely stay again. Thank you :)

She gave great recommendations and provided maps and brochures for all the activities we mentioned or asked about. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was large with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was basic, but had plenty of choices and was more than we needed. The dining area and lounge are large and cozy. Enjoyed the ability to play or stream music. Location and proximity to town is great. Close enough to get there in moments without any noise or crazy traffic. We did hear the sheep next door when we went outside!

It is close to Sligo and Strandhill beach if you fancy a walk on the beach or go for a swim or maybe some surfing. Then there is the lovely Glencar Waterfall with a coffee shop if you fancy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat after the walk to the waterfall. i will highly recommend Peace and Tranquility when visiting Sligo.
