Location is a bit far from center, but they are super cheap so it was great value of money. We did laundry and cook in the house, their facilities are great. Their tours were also amazing. The house is quite social as we also met other travelers there and we can hang out together. So far we enjoyed our stay.

Warm welcome from Johan and his nephew, the room was clean and already fresh with the AC. The place felt like home and we could also use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. We also plan the visit to Ijen with Johan and everything went smoothly ! Thanks for everything, it was a pleasure to meet you :)

The location is amazing, great views from the rooftop and very close access to the Mount bromo and Sea of sand. The daily dinner was really good and the host created a good atmosphere with all the other guests. Furthermore he advised me on a really cool (and challenging) route to drive to Mt Bromo by motorbike giving me a very unique experience.

Terletak 36km dari Mount Lamongan, Brak Homestay mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Great location in central Probolinggo. The owner is absolutely the best, he caned to pick us up at the train station, he arranged for us a motorbike to drive up to Mount Bromo and he left us leave our bags with him free of charge. He took care of giving us all the good indications on how to ge to Malang by bus and he was always available via WhatsApp if we needed anything. Can’t do better in the area

The owner and staff is super organised, attentive and helpful. They organised transport to pick us up promptly at the fast ferry and drove us all the way to the Turtle Lodge. We had activities they planned each day such as seeing a waterfall at Green Bay Beach. The turtle overnight watch we signed up for was incredible located inside the national park. My son loved releasing tiny turtles to the sea and we saw how the Green Sea turtles nested.

Annie and Yati were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting there family and the rooms were clean. We had jackfruit pancakes for breakfast with fresh watermelon which was delicious. The neighborhood felt safe and everyone was friendly. We walked around and tried local food. The streets can get busy but everyone was so nice and saying hello as they went by. We did the Ijen tour through them with a group of 5. We had planned to do it alone but when we compared the cost going with a group it was much more affordable. Especially because they make you go up with a guide now. The group size was not too big either. We saw some groups of over 20 people which I would not recommend. Incredible experience. We went from night time cold, to hot from hiking, to cold, to fog, to rain, to the most incredible view we have EVER seen. Our favourite thing in Bali. Even the walk back down was incredible. You also could come later in the day to miss the crowds. The blue luminescent light from the lava has not been working since an eruption in Jan. They take you for sunrise, but we barely saw it because of fog and honestly if you see Bromo sunrise this is nothing in comparison. I would go mid morning, because it get too hot but you miss the crowds and see the real blue of the crater.

Good beds, cute cats, helpful and friendly family. I have to focus on the food. It was the best breakfast I've ever had in Indonesia. I had the best fried cassava of my life.
