It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Location was nice and we had use of kitchen and dining room. Also, it had a great bathtub, which was nice after hiking.

リニー湾から43kmのBlarcreenはオーバンにある宿泊施設で、無料レンタル自転車、無料専用駐車場、庭、共用ラウンジを提供しています。ダンスタッフネイジ城から約17km、コランホールズから約20km、グレンコー・嘆きの渓谷から約44kmの宿泊施設です。山の景色を望むゲストハウスで、館内全域での無料WiFiとテラスを提供しています。... なによりもホストのDeirdreさんとDavidさんの人柄が素晴らしくホスピタリティあふれるものでした。加えて、鉄道の突然のキャンセルで大変困っているところを本当によく助けていただき予定通り観光できました。改めてお礼申し上げるものです。 部屋は湖が眺められるとても広いEtiveという部屋でマナーハウスに宿泊しているようなぜいたくな気分が味わえます。掃除やメンテナンスが行き届いており極めて快適でした。また、お茶やコーヒー、ミネラルウォーターやミルクなど無料で使えて大変便利でした。宿はEtive湖の岸辺で、長靴を借りて岸まで行けるので湖の景色を眺めることができます。 朝食の選択肢がとても多く、個別に食材も選択でき好きなものを食べることができました。また、味付けも濃くなく極めて適切で私たち日本人にも大変おいしいものでした。 夕食を付けていただきましたが、こちらも地元の食材の旨味が十分に楽しめる穏やかな味付けで、鮭、鹿、タラ、ホタテ料理がどれもとても美味しかったです。夕食の後はラウンジで飲み物を飲みながら他のお客さんたちと気軽にお話ができてすっかり長居してしまいましたが、普通の旅ではなかなか味わえない経験ができて楽しいものでした。

The property is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Ovan. Paul was super welcoming and help us with all the arrival. He was so kind with my family and makes us so welcome. We stayed in the villa that is mind blowing in terms of decoration and confort. It is one of the most special places that we ever been. Hope we can come back!

We stayed at Kilmeny Country House for three days, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Blair and Margaret’s charming bed & breakfast is set in a peaceful, cozy location, conveniently close to Bowmore, making it an ideal base for exploring the island. Their directions to the property were clear, and it’s just as easy to find by simply entering the name into Google Maps. The house is immaculate, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally well maintained. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort, and the tranquil surroundings guarantee a restful night’s sleep. What truly sets Kilmeny apart is the warmth and hospitality of its hosts. Margaret welcomed us with genuine kindness and had arranged homemade cake and a dram of whisky for our arrival—a thoughtful gesture that made us feel instantly at home. Breakfast each morning was a delight: from the full Scottish breakfast and overnight oats prepared by Margaret, to Blair’s freshly brewed coffee and crisp toast. Margaret even remembered a passing mention of clotted cream and prepared it specially to accompany the scones—a gesture that spoke volumes about their care for guests. When I requested a firmer pillow, it was provided without hesitation. Every interaction reflected sincere warmth and attentiveness. The hosts struck the perfect balance—thoughtful, while never intrusive. Their hospitality made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kilmeny, not only for its beautiful property and ideal location, but above all for the exceptional service. Thank you, Blair and Margaret, for making our stay so special. Your B&B will undoubtedly be my first choice when I return to Islay.
