Gwenaël was the perfect host. He was thoughtful and helpful. He is very interested in learning about his guests (yet he respects their privacy) and wants to make sure they have everything they need. I liked how he supplied all the necessary items for a great breakfast in the morning. The room and the private bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-supplied. Having a secure place to store my e-bike overnight in the shed was very welcome.

I hiked all day without much food. It was a holiday in France and all the stores were closed. Monique immediately gave me some fruits, meat and bread. She also phoned restaurants nearby to see which one was opened. The day I left, we had breakfast together and she also gave me some bread to take along. Never been treated so kindly.

A very welcome haven after a long day's walk. This place is outstanding. We had the room right next to the ramparts, so close we could touch them. The best hosts ever. The room was modern, comfortable, quiet, and creative. Excellent breakfast. Wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended.

It's clean and cosy, and it's in a very quiet location on the wine route. The breakfast was wonderful (plentiful and made with homemade products). The owners were excellent communicators, open and friendly, and always willing to advise or recommend places to see or visit in the area. It was a pleasure to chat with them!

Perfect location, near restaurants, wine tasting, and magnificent trails. The homeowner was like a cherry on top; such nice breakfasts with interesting conversations.

Sophie and Pasqual were fabulous hosts, providing breakfast, recommendations to Christmas markets in the area, and even helping us to secure a reservation for dinner one late evening. They went above and beyond to cater to our young child who said "I wish we could live here" when it was time to go (very high praise from a 7 year old boy). There home is a great base for anyone wanting to take in the Alsace region and was between 20 min- 2 hours to some of the best Christmas markets in the world...the purpose for our holiday this year. We will be back!

It's an amazing location, right in the centre of Ribeauvillé. The room is cozy and and really spacious, when I say room, it's actually an apartment. It was quite nice and cool when we checked in the apartment, even though outside there were 30 degrees Celsius. Everything was clean, with two massive and very comfortable sitting chairs.

Set in a typical Alsatian timbered house, Le Hameau d’Eguisheim offers B&B and self-catering accommodation on an estate with a vineyard. location was excellent and staff very helpful.
