It’s very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the host is exceptionally gracious. It surrounded by many restaurants, yet very quiet. I highly recommend this amazing place

Loved the comfy bedroom! Everything was beautiful, a lot of special details. The location is amazing! One block from the beach and lots of restaurants and super close (around 3 blocks) from the steps to up to the historic center. Their host was super nice and willing to share some ideas to go around Altea. Definitely will come back!

I chose the hotel based on location and rating, and I was right to choose this hotel! The room is very cozy, clean and has all the details for a comfortable stay (for example, a corkscrew and tableware, mini-safe etc.). The mattress and pillows are comfortable, I slept well. The room windows overlook a quiet street, but the city center is less than 25 minutes away on foot. The Internet worked well too. I will definitely use this hotel again in the future!

The hotel is brilliantly located between both the main beaches of this busy seaside town. Our beautiful room overlooked the tranquil bay of the playa sur; a very easy stroll from the hotel to the, excellent value, beach sun beds and umbrellas - still available to rent at the beginning of October; which is such a safe place to swim. The hotel is within minutes walk of the castle and old Town - with great views to enjoy because of its excellent location. Maria and her family have created a fantastic hotel, to add to their already thriving restaurant. We loved everything about our stay here: the calm style of the rooms; the spotless cleanliness; the attention to detail and the wonderfully warm - and efficient - welcome from Maria, who speaks excellent English, after her work and travels in London and Australia. We also enjoyed the views from our huge balcony, the historic aspects of Peniscola and all the bars, restaurants and shops (and very good parking) that surround Xulos. We would so happily return to visit here again to enjoy another wonderful stay at this beautifully designed seaside hotel.
