The mango guest house is really a little oasis on Elephantine Island. Mohammed was amazing to us and he allowed us to meet Ahmed who took us on his feluka. That was the highlight of this travel to Egypt. The hotel itself is calm, super clean, with a comfortable room. You have to take a boat to join the hotel but it passes often and only costs 10EGP per person.

The owner, JJ, and his team were very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable and they organized a trip to Abu Simbel for me. When I got sick, they postponed the trip by a day, so I had time to get back in shape. JJ's wife also served me the strongest ginger tea I have ever had, to get me back up. Days later, while I was staying at another place, I walked past the hotel again and JJ spontaneously invited me to a dinner they were throwing for a group of guests. Thanks a lot!

Mahmoud was a great host and made all he could to arrange everything 🙏 This place provides laundry services, transfers, great tours and so on. Even hair cuts, henna tattoos if you need. Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

The location allows you to see the area quickly. The family that manages it is very warm and helpful. Strongly recommended. The family and house are real diamonds.

The host was extremely warm and polite. Hospitality at its peak. Arrangement for various local trips (Aswan + Abu Simbel + Transfer to Luxor) were also taken care of by him at a decent price on short notice. Chatted with him on Egyptian culture, people etc which enriched the experience for us of the whole trip. Loved our stay.

The view at the roof was exceptional! The location in elephantine is very good not to close but not to far from Aswan city, and Ahmed was very helpful and always with a smile!

Great location on an island. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Very nice host Abu. Nevertheless, we were very late he was there in the middle of the night to give us a boat ride to the guesthouse and offer some water, juice and fruits. He arranged also a morning boat for us. In the afternoon when we were back from the day trip there was a lunch waiting for us with everything we agreed on the day before. We already had our day trips organized prior to arrival, but I would absolutely trust him to organize activities around Aswan.

If you are planning a trip to Aswan, Elephantine Island on the Nile , La Terrace Aswan is the guest house you NEED to stay at. The house is so lovely and spotlessly clean. The view of Aswan Corniche from the wonderful terrace are fabulous day and night. Now on to Mohammed, the proprietor. The nicest, kindest, most genuine man you’ll meet. He looked after us like we were family. We flew into Aswan from Cairo but when we arrived in Cairo our luggage wasn’t. We messaged Mohammed just to let him know what happened and even though at this stage we still hadn’t met he took ownership of the issue and just ran with it. He had a car meet us at the airport which took us straight to a pharmacy to buy toiletries before taking us to the guest house. The following morning after making sure we had some breakfast he guided us to a shopping centre where we could purchase replacement clothing. In addition to all this Mohammed looked after all our bookings for tours and trips. He well and truly saved our holiday. The beds in the room were so comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. Airkela Nuba Dool 2 mempunyai taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan restoran di Aswan. We arrived late in evening,and they waited for us on airport,what was really helpful.Short ride on the boat and we arrived.It is located right on the river Nile,with beautiful views..Staying here was so relaxing and peaceful,food was excellent with amazing breakfast and really good coffee.Just few steps from the 2 really good restaurants,and ferry. Amazing experience filled with Egyptian cuisine and culture.. We will be back 😊❤️
