I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.

The apartment was great, spacious and clean. There was this cute balcony where we had breakfast. The hot tub was a nice feature as well. We could use the kitchen to prepare quick meals and they provided drinking water. The host was a very nice Italian man, always with a smile on his face.

That's why I chose there. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. They have a small mini fridge as well which was nice. They also have a small kitchen and washer and spinner. I was able to do my washing there and then put my clothes outside on the chairs and by the morning they were dry. The host was very nice as well. It is in town so you can go eat nearby. I felt safe.
