It’s fun watching all the big boats go through the locks in the evening while having a glass of wine/ beer/ coffee -Honor refrigerator with beer and wine - rooms were good with very comfortable beds, nice tv, bathroom shower had good pressure and a shower mat ( thank you). Our rooms both had a balcony with table and 2 chairs - breakfast was very good..hard boiled eggs, assorted meats, breads, jams, fresh fruit, cereals, juices..etc..(10 euro per person) The breakfast area is light and airy - if Angela has time ask to see her collection of beautiful stained glass Tiffany lamps in the cellar!

The house and the hosts pull you in and make you feel so welcome - like you never want to leave. When we arrived we were invited to sit with them and a neighbor and laughed as if we'd always known them. The shower is modern and roomy with excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed is comfy. Breakfast (and I can't believe I didn't take a pic) looks like a photo shoot from a magazine. Petra and Peter have thought of everything. Many fruits are from their garden, eggs from the neighbor, sprinkled with German meats, breads, and cheeses. I didn't know where to start!

The pension had very nice owner who took care of us in all kind of things. For example she booked the table for us in nearest restaurant and also arranged wine shopping in nearby vinotek that was not open normally. We had nice breakfast with owner made marmelade and bread as well other nice food. The room was clean and bed good. We felt ourselves like family members.
