We had a lovely stay at Despina Country Retreat. Both hosts were lovely and helpful and really welcomed us into their home. Great breakfast too. We had a bit of an eventful start to the day we left when our rental car broke down. The hosts went out of their way to help us and were very generous with their time. We didn't mind waiting for the replacement car though as there were a couple of cute kittens to play with :)

The landlady is extremely obliging and is on hand with help and advice. Please contact her for the arrival so that you get the exact address, which is not displayed correctly on Booking.com. You can easily park your car in front of the house on the public road. If you feel like it, there is a parlour with training facilities in the entrance area. I slept well even without air conditioning because the location is elevated and the room is below another flat. There were young cats and they were allowed to play. There is a new shopping facility and it is three kilometres by car to the historic sights and probably one kilometre to the historic centre. There is also definitely a bus down to the harbour Conclusion: very nice landlady and accommodation absolutely recommendable.thanks so much :-)
