It turns out that the spectacular view is surpassed by the incredible service. Katiusca was amazing! We felt so welcomed and so grateful for all the extra things she did for us. She organised my favourite wine and aperitivo for a romantic evening. We used their brand new e-bikes to visit the town easily. Katiusca brought us some special cake cooked by her mother for Swiss National Day and invited us to join a local celebration. Everything was perfect and I just didn’t want to leave, I felt like I had found a new friend! The whole experience was wonderful. I don’t often leave reviews but this was so well deserved. Thank you. Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

The private parking was great! The owners were caring and very attentive, they truly took care of us. It’s very close to the train station, so it was very easy to get around.

Cuore Alpino is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Valle di Blenio. Easy to reach by public transport and a great starting point to go exploring in various directions. Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan. 100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there.

Peacefully situated a 5-minute walk from the centre of Brissago and overlooking the Lake Maggiore, the family-run Residence Venus Garden is surrounded by a picturesque garden with a furnished terrace... First of all, the view from our room was amazing. It overlooks the lake. Furthermore, the owners were so nice and welcoming. They preapared an amazing breakfast for us, after which we talked to the owner for more than 30 minutes and he was so nice and offered good advice for our trip.

It was a truly special experience. The breakfasts felt like those in a five-star hotel – a variety of cheeses and cold cuts you could reorder, freshly home baked pastries, and all of this included in the price. On top of that, we had access to SUP boards, which we used to explore both sides of the lake, and bicycles for magical rides just 10 minutes from the Italian border, where we enjoyed a chilled Aperol. We had an amazing room with air conditioning – something you don’t usually find in Switzerland. A special thank you to our hosts, who were always available, ready to help, and happy to provide anything we needed to make our stay in their apartment truly wonderful. We absolutely loved our stay!
