I stayed for one night so I could revisit Hanging Rock and participate at Campaspe parkrun the following day. I really enjoyed my stay. Islay house is about 5-10 mins walk from Woodend station. Very close to the town centre and right across the road from Campaspe parkrun. I was made to feel very welcome. Tarni and Clive are really nice and friendly and I really enjoyed their company. I was especially grateful to Tarni for offering to take me to the rock and picking me up later. I didn't expect it. Not many people would do that. It was such a nice gesture, and I really appreciated it. The property is really clean and comfortable. In fact, I had the best night's sleep throughout my time in Australia when I stayed here. The blue room was a lovely room to stay in, spotless and spacious. I had a good breakfast the following morning at a time, which suited me. I could have easily stayed for longer, and I do hope to go back again at some point. I was very happy with my decision to come here. It was perfect for what I was looking for and if you're planning to visit woodend, this is the place to come. Highly recommended!!

We liked everything about our 4 day stay at The Bohemian Art Studio. It was comfortable, private, well equipped and overall, a beautiful location with very accommodating hosts. Added bonus, were our little visitors each morning....Mia the 😺 and Wally the dog 🐕

Private room in a very new house. Had my own en suite. Very quiet and walking distance to Main Street. Owners were friendly but respected my privacy. Excellent value for money for a solo traveller.
