Very impressed with the presentation. Cannot find fault in any way. We had phone issues and needed to book other accommodation. The owner very kindly lent us his own mobile and we were able to tether a connection. How cool is that. Possibly the best stay on our 2 week trip. Thoroughly recommended. 11 / 10.

Maunder Cottage is one of, if not the best, most relaxing old fashioned bed and breakfast getaways we have found in South Australia.

Beautiful details everywhere — cosy potbelly stove, luxurious double rain shower, lush outdoor pond, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Thoughtful touches — artisan bread, decent bottle of red, chocolates — made it feel extra special. A short stroll to Sellicks Beach. A true hidden gem. Highly recommend! A wonderfully thoughtful and welcoming host. Every detail was so well considered — it made for a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Thank you. Heart of Modbury terletak di Modbury, 14km dari Taman Botani Adelaide, 14km dari Adelaide Oval, dan juga 14km dari Muzium Rumah Ayers. Location suited us but might be too far out of the city for some. Very good value. Good shopping at nearby Westfield nice parks for walks. Ritchie the host is a great host, very happy to chat and offer advice about the area.

The cottage is in exceptional condition having been newly renovated. Instructions upon arrival were clear with pictures provided on how to find the cottage. Private parking was provided under shelter and off main street. Lets talk about the comfort of the cottage. The couch was the most clean and comfortable I've ever experienced. The bed: pillows, sheets, quilt and mattress clean and the MOST COMFORTABLE I've ever experienced, better than my own bed! I adored how beautiful the kitchen was being clean and organised, easy to find needed items. Bathroom clean, new and a very decent sized shower/ shower head. The TV provided all channels- Netflix, Stan Etc... so I enjoyed catching up on my series. The environment overall is absolutely divine. The view of the valley the property is located in holds a very special heart-warming vibe surrounded by nature with a view of the city and ocean. The peaceful cottage will draw you back- I already miss it and very much looking forward to returning soon as possible. Upon arrival, I noticed a generous gift in the fridge a lovely bottle of bubbles. I felt very welcomed and truly needed the get-away being a fulltime mum. This environment would be lovely and suitable for those who need a break from the hard yakka of life in general or a quiet getaway from the city life. A truly special space for anyone needing some time with their significant other or some personal space. I HIGHLY recommend this cottage. Please take a deep breath in and exhale walking into that cottage because it resonates the love, work and intention created by the owners. Special indeed and not far from many locations. Absolutely everything! Attention to detail was second to none. Down to a delicious freshly baked loaf of bread. Location is perfect, beach, wine region….. & take note of the suggestion books….. spot on! Donna & Cam have put a lot of love into this….. & it shines through. Thank you so very much for the perfect getaway.
