The bed was comfortable and the balcony had a nice view of the mountains. During hot summer days, the air in the rooms is cooler, which is a relief after a full day of hiking and walking in the sun. The breakfast is always fresh, the host is very nice, kind, and helpful. We communicated in English, so the fact that I don't speak German was not a problem. For those who do not come by car, there's a bus station nearby. Waldhof is conveniently located about halfway between Salzburg and Fuschlsee, making it easy to visit the city one day and head in the opposite direction the next day, to bathe in one of the region's lakes or at least see their incredible blue water. (The app Sbg Verkehr is useful for checking bus schedules in real time or buying tickets.) Additionally, from Waldhof, it is easy to go into the forest, hike in the surrounding mountains and enjoy the view if you reach the Nockstein peak. Here, you don't feel like a client in a hotel, but rather like a guest in a home. A really nice experience.

Located in Salzburg, 2.6 km from Festival Hall Salzburg, Pension Ballwein features free WiFi access and free private parking. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This even exceeded my expectations. I saw the many positive reviews ... and still was positivly surprised ... This is the ideal place if you come by car (good, safe, free of charge and enough parking next to the house), a bus stop (Nr 21 "Gsengerweg") to the city center is also right there (between the parking and street with busstop is just a hedge sepatating street and house.) For me it was an ideal place to relax (very calm but safe environment, much nature) and work (desk in the room, good light). My room had a spaceful cosy balcony with view to mountains (besides: it's that mountain from the "Sound of Music poster"). Spaceful modern bathroom. Super clean,  room, even the inside the wardrobe had a fresh/neutral smell. My room was modern but cosy, perfect size, tasteful room design. There was a mini bar in my room with good choise of things, a kettle and coffee machine, teas and coffee, hair dryer, safety box, air conditioning, good size TV, sofa, balcony with comfy chairs. Nearby are several restaurants in walking distance (Lake of "Sound of Music" is just 1 km away). Breakfast is included and very good. But the best was: The owners - a family - of this pension are super kind, they really care for their house and for their guests, in the exact proper way (not too much, just right and sensitive for each guest's needs) -  I felt super good and "at home". (Little secret: "Family pension" is a bit of an understatement, the couple are both trained in hotel management, they are professionels! This is like a 4 star hotel which feels like a home!)

Overlooking the Salzach Valley and the Untersberg Mountain, Pension David is 1 km from Puch and 4 km from Hallein. Salzburg can be reached in a 15-minute drive. Perfect location, nearby Salzburg. Good breakfast too! Also perfect family

Located in Eugendorf, 10 km from Salzburg, Gasthof Neuwirt offers a traditional furnished restaurant with a terrace. Free WiFi is provided in the entire property. Everything was great from the warm welcoming hosts to the awesome view from the rooms. The food is delicious and an added plus.

Frühstückspension Helmhof offers rooms with balconies, an outdoor pool, and free parking in a quiet location in the district of Liefering. Salzburg’s old town is only a few minutes away. We had an unforgettable time! The Pension is very cosy, country house in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood and very easy to rich the city centre with the bus. Everything was perfect: the staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and beautifully designed, the garden is very relaxing and the breakfast was excellent! We recommend it by all means!

Terletak di Grödig, 8.3km dari Dewan Pesta Salzburg, Esterer menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, teres dan restoran. My stay at Esterer was absolutely wonderful. The room was spotless and cozy, and the location couldn’t have been more beautiful. Waking up to the mountains every morning was such a treat! I really appreciated how close it was to the bus stop, just a short walk and an easy ride into Salzburg. It was the best of both worlds: peaceful and quiet on the outskirts, yet close enough to explore the city anytime. The owners were so kind and accommodating, even letting me leave my luggage before check-in, which made things so much easier. The area felt very safe and I often came back after dark and always felt comfortable walking from the bus stop. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a more personal, welcoming experience instead of a big hotel. I already can’t wait to come back someday!
