I liked the room and all the facilities. The view from the room was breathtaking. The food was delicious with a big variety of traditional homemade plates. Both dinner and breakfast were perfect. Special thanks to the gentleman that served us dinner the night we arrived, he was very sweet. All people were very kind, warm and friendly. I would undoubtedly recommend it to everyone that wants to visit Theth. Thank you!

This is a new guesthouse with comfy rooms and very good showers (there is good water pressure in the shower, not something to take for granted in a place like Theth). The breakfast was nice, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. There is also a small fridge in the room. Definitely recommend staying here :)

I stayed at Serenity Guesthouse for two nights, and my experience was truly exceptional. The more I praise this property, the less it feels. What makes it special is not just the location, but the incredible people behind it. The guesthouse is run by Paulin, with his wife Olga and daughter Pamela, and they are among the warmest, most genuine people I met during my entire trip in Albania. Their hospitality was beyond expectations — down to earth, caring, and always making me feel at home. The effort they put into everything, from preparing delicious breakfasts to guiding and helping with local information, was outstanding. It felt less like staying in a guesthouse and more like being welcomed into a family. The location is perfect, right in the center of Theth Valley, surrounded by nature. All major attractions are within walking distance (just 2–3 km in the hills), but honestly, you could simply sit on the balcony and enjoy the breathtaking valley views without going anywhere. This was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend Serenity Guesthouse — it’s not just accommodation, it’s a true Albanian hospitality experience.

We had a fantastic time at Valter & Dritas and found it to be great value! It is located in the hills, just above Theth and provides stunning views of the valley. A peaceful and tranquil environment to relax in. The guesthouse is run by the family, who are excellent hosts and very genuine lovely people. They provided breakfast and dinner throughout our time there, which was home cooked and delicious. There was a good range of food available and we enjoyed slowly exploring the menu during our time there. We had 3 full days in Theth, during which we hiked the Valbona Pass, Blue Eye Kaprre and Grunas waterfall. Valbona Pass, is a tough but stunning walk which is well worth the effort. The Blue Eye was excellent too, the water was crisp and refreshing, the perfect respite from the Albanian heat. This walk is deceptively challenging and we’d recommend getting a taxi to the drop off location. Grunas waterfall was a fun hike and slightly less demanding after the other hikes. They have fresh spring water at the guesthouse which is safe to drink, so no need to bring bottled water with you. There are cute dogs, cats and chickens around the residence. If you like to sleep in, I’d bring ear plugs as the cockerels do their thing in the mornings. Overall, we had a great time. Whether you are looking for exciting and challenging hikes around the Albanian Alps or just want to unwind and relax in the hills.

There is a big seating area that overlooks the entire valley. Fresh breakfast is delicious. Dinner is hearty, tasty, home cooked meal. The family and their 3 daughters are amazing, friendly, and super welcoming. Best place we stayed in Albania

The room was beautifull, clean with very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and excelent view. The stuff is very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was great.

Our stay at the Freskia guesthouse was perfect. The view is beautiful, the rooms are very cozy, but what surprised us the most was the breakfast, which was included in the price of the room and was very well served, simply WONDERFUL. The owner of the place welcomed us very well and was always available. In addition to serving breakfast, there is a restaurant on site where you can have dinner for 12 euros per person. We had dinner there two nights and loved it, the food was very tasty. In short, we highly recommend this place!
