The bedroom was very clean, very quiet, the family that welcome us are charming, discreet, and their homemade food was too good to stop eating! And the bread was one of the best we had in our life...and the owner gave us an extra piece for the hike to Thet.

Very nice, rustic home, feels like a log cabin. Quiet. The owner and host Mir is awesome, so nice. He made sure we had extra eggs, bread, cheese etc for the trek. Mir makes great coffee too. I think most places in Valbone are quite spread out, we were fortunate to get dropped off at the bottom of his road, maybe 1200 metres walk up. The official trail start is about 2 kilometres away, either arrange a taxi or walk. We chose the latter, downhill from Mir's, used a short cut he recommended, after 12 minutes you arrive to the flat and dry riverbed. The scenery is already amazing and the walk easy when you start early. The restaurant near to Mir's is good as well.

The guesthouse is not only set in an idealic setting at the base of the mountain with spectacular scenery, but it is moments from the trail. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!

Fabulous views. Beautiful family run business. Food was also amazing and plentiful. Wish we could have stayed longer. The service was excellent and nothing was a problem. I felt so welcomed and left feeling like friends not guests.

The owner was very friendly and we could ask him about hiking tours in the area. Breakfast was a buffet and you could take as much as you wanted. Lunch packages for daily hiking tours were offered optionally. In the evening comfy firepit. The place itself and the view was amazing!
