If I could rate it higher than 10, I absolutely would! Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing, from the spotless cleanliness to the warm, genuine hospitality we received upon arrival. The host went above and beyond to make our visit truly special, and we can’t thank them enough. The entire house is stunning—both inside and out. We stayed in a room with a double bed and a private bathroom. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There is a shared kitchen and living room downstairs, and a beautiful outdoor seating area with chairs, tables, a grill, and lovely views of the surrounding nature. Roger and Louise were very nice, and we felt very welcome. They stay on the upper floor. Although we did not order breakfast, we saw them preparing it for other guests, and it looked absolutely delicious. It might be worth getting it next time. ;)

Absolutely perfect, the family are so helpful. We were travelling on bikes, they gave us perfect recommendations for the next day. Helped us with dinner, breakfast was delicious. The room was new, and the wine delicious. We managed to fit a bottle on our bike which we enjoyed a couple of days later. Yes, we will be back, is a great place for a base for biking.

The facilities are located in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. A peaceful monastery is clung on top of a high hill in Slovenia, right across the border with Italy. From there you can admire on one side the cities and hundreds of km of coast, ending with the sea. On the other side the alps sit austere and majestic . Center Mir is perfectly clean, mint, staff was always communicating with clarity and speed. This has become my favourite place if I'll ever have to stop over night on that route.
