Perfect room, kitchen, very clean and comfortable and cozy! A lot of help from the owners, they helped with what we needed! Very close to the fairy, also to the swimming area and restaurants.

Antonio was really nice and waited for me until midnight because the ferry was late. It is a 3 minutes walk from the port wich was very convinient as I arrived late. The view from my room on Pico and the church was veeeery pretty in the morning. And the breakfast was simple but good with various breads. . Will definitely recommend this place for someone arriving late by the ferry or want to stay a few days in Velas.

The place is exciting, really comfortable, and cozy. Thirstly, the house is clean, the room is big, and the kitchen is equipped very well. The host is an intelligent and kind person, speaks English well, and he provided us with good advice about the island and sights. Also, he helped us to rent a car. Absolutely recommended!

The staff was very friendly and happy help whenever needed. The daily housekeeping was done very nicely.

It was a fantastic experience! We felt like at home. The room is good and the bed is comfy. It’s a house with history - don’t miss the small tour in the house and around - it’s really impressive. We loved the breakfast. They even make eggs from their own chickens, and home made yoghurts and jams. Catarina also gave us a lot of good recommendations for what to see on the island and great restaurants. Do not worry that it’s next to the airport: there are only a couple of planes per day landing. It’s so far the best stay I ever had while traveling in Portugal (and I’ve been to Portugal like 20+times :)

Rui and his wife Lina are amazing hosts. I only stayed two nights but made the best out of it. Rui picked me up at the airport and even drove me to other places for walks as I didn't have car. Both him and Lina are super sweet people who will go beyond to make you feel welcome. And the house (or better the mansion) is amazing as well with great view to Pico and Velas. I couldn't choose better place :)
