Mahsa and Sam are an amazing couple! Very helpful, kind and positive. Everything is in order, clean, calm and peaceful, comfy small room and good bed, great bathroom, comfortable kitchen, an opportunity to leave luggage after check out. I trully felt at home. Despite location is outside Alesund, it only takes about 10 min to get by bus, and on your way you see nice views around.

It was the most wonderful place. First of all, the owners are lovely, caring, friendly and will help you with any questions you have. Secondly, the location. As mentioned before, it is quite the view to wake up to, to see in the afternoon, and in the evening! It might not be the closest to Ålesund (has a bus to the city, just down the road), but it is 100% worth it to stay in this flat! 10/10- we had a wonderful experience there and would come back there any time

The place is quite rough and ready (and the host Terje is quite gruff too!). Our first impressions after our long journey were not great, too be honest. But as they say, you should never judge a book by it's cover... We were cajoled into an evening fishing/crabbing trip in Terje's small boat, taught how to haul in the nets, fillet cod and mackerel, crack open fresh crabs. Our catch was consumed with gusto in the communal dining room by guests from six different countries. Overall it was messy, slapdash, a bit crazy.. but also totally brilliant fun!! For the open-minded, adventure awaits!!!
