We had a great stay at Jonnys! The home was so beautiful, as was view of the mountains. Jonny and his family we were caring and it was nice to experience a local family environment. The food was amazing as well.

We were the first guests they’ve had this year and we’re not sure why! We had such a lovely time, the family were so nice and accommodating. Ideal if you’re looking for an affordable place in Tetebatu - the food was really nice and the huts were so cute!

I booked for 2 family rooms/villa which had a king and a double bed, in newly built building that is air-conditioned, bright and clean, brand new bathroom with hot water and 2 choices of shower heads. The pictures here dont do credit. I knew I am their 1st guest as the kettles are brand new too (as at 22 Jan 2025). They also have back rooms for 2 guests. I also booked another room in an 4yr old building, which is super clean, not too dated. Home-made breakfast and excellent dinner were served at the main hall next to the villa. For a reasonable fee, Ari is friendly and speaks decent English, he took us through the rice fields to his family coffee making facility and coconut oil production where you get to do tastings, and the children also get to see their cows and free roaming reared animals around. We also took a package that took us direct in the car (as we have elderlys and children) for trip to the Sarung Walet waterfall, recreation pool, which do not require trekking, also had a try at harvesting rice with a villager. We were lucky, at the monkey forest, we only walked 50m in, and the monkeys put on a display, which is not very frequent, apparently! Exceeded.expextations and very highly recommended!!

The Bello bungalow is situated in a rural area surrounded by rice fields and nature. It is absolutely stunning!! The staff is incredibly friendly and ready to help! I'm a solo traveller and I felt very safe. You have to respect the local community, so it is better to have a proper outfit when going around. It is possible to rent a scooter as well, but there are local guides that can help you to arrange tours and show you around, and suggest the typical food to try! The room is absolutely nice, the ves is comfortable, is very clean, there is a window on the rice fields, AC and kettle. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!!

In a beautiful setting, pool was lovely and refreshing. Rooms were fine for the price. Staff went above and beyond, my girlfriend left her sleeping mask that was a gift from her mum. went back the next day after checking out to see if they still had it and they'd even washed it for her and got it for us straight away

My stay with Ika and Egi was one of the best experiences through all my travels in Indonesia. They created a beautiful place that looks like a dream and feels like home at the same time. We spent four days with them and we talked, we cooked, we signed, we laughed and we learned a lot. My heart is so full after being with them, I can only feel grateful to had the opportunity to find this place and experience it. The bungalow was very clean and has everything you need. The bed comfortable, and has a mosquito net which is good considering it is a timber bungalow. The view was amazing, this is a great place to stay if you are wanting something quiet and in nature. Don’t come here expecting a touristy town. It is located in a village, which i really enjoyed exploring. There is waterfalls and rice fields. Also the black monkey forest is just up the road. The locals are very nice and helpful. You can hire scooter, but I didn’t, was able to easily explore just walking around. I ate at the bungalow for both breakfast and dinner, you can order through WhatsApp’s and there bring it to your balcony. DELICOUS. Breakfast was nice but the highlight was dinner (I had the egg curry!! Also tried the fried pineapple)

It is perfectly located homestay in the heart of Tetebatu. Room is so clean, that I never seen any homestay like that in Indonesia. All family is super nice and helpfull.
