Great location for Kelimutu. Very sweet landlady. In nice weather, you have a balcony looking over the whole village. There’s a very atmospheric bar/restaurant about five mins away that does really good live music. We got invited to a local holy communion which was a crazy introduction to local culture. Very welcoming local community.

Our stay at Namira’s homestay was one of the best experiences during our entire trip to Indonesia! From the moment we arrived, Namira was incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuinely hospitable.
