A very honest 10/10. Amazing, traditional apartment with cozy amenities. Very warm during the winter. Healthy and homemade breakfast every morning. The perfect destination for a getaway in nature. Very close to other well-known destinations in Pelion like Milies and Pinakates. Would definitely visit again.

The location is excellent—just a 30-minute drive from most areas of Pelion. The host's hospitality is outstanding: warm, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel right at home during your stay. Highly recommended! Maria is an awesome cook. The breakfast was amazing! She was also extremely helpful and very nice to interact with in general. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable too. The hotel is very close to a nice beach club/beach as well.

Xantha is great for two reasons: the stunning view of the Pagasetic Gulf, the mountains and Volos; and the really wonderful lady who is now running the place (and who also speaks very good English). One should take into account that the road up is steep, narrow and at some places winding, not an easy one, and it's best to have a good engine, but it's well worth it for the view from your little balcony and the friendliness and generosity of the hostess: who not only invited me to eat as many of the ripe figs from the trees as I possibly could, but even paid my bill with the dinner delivery man (you can order food up) since I was in the shower!... As well as your own balcony, there's also a verandah off the drawing room with its own view of the Gulf, and the outside patio sitting area is especially nice. There's an open bar in the main drawing room of the hotel where you can make yourself herb tea from a varied selection, or of course coffee. So unless you would find the drive up difficult, Xantha is very highly recommended!
