This was a fantastic find, we wanted somewhere to have a good nights sleep, before our final part of the journey to Calais, and it has been perfect. Such a lovely couple who own the property, everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. They also directed us to a fab Chinese buffet restaurant just a couple of minutes walk, which was great. You can walk back via the river Seine which is very picturesque with beautiful cows. Would definitely recommend and would definitely book again. Thankyou for your hospitality 🥰

Lovely friendly hosts. Great breakfast, Very accommodating. Great location with some interesting features in the local environs. Dog (Santo) was gorgeous and very friendly. Pool was a bonus albeit warm in the poolhouse and cool in the actual pool. I'm sure had the weather been hotter we'd had spent more time in it.

The start of the stay was somewhat embarrassing, we were tired after along drive, and my husband freaked out that his beloved vehicle will get the bottom scraped on the way down hill to the guesthouse. The host patiently babied us down, there was no issue at all. Oh well, embarrassing indeed. The rest of the stay was pure pleasure. In addition to the most scenic view from the terrace and large windows, the place is tastefully decorated with mid century furniture and lots of interesting details. A good bed, a proper kitchen, plenty of space to relax and a wonderful gentleman as a host. La Bouille is a charming and characterful village, we always stay here on the last night of the holiday before getting on a boat from Dieppe. Mind, the working hours of the few shops is a part of the charm, dont expect things to be open all the time, you’ve got to time it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will try to book when next in this part of the country. Merci beaucoup Antoine.

Room located upstairs in a quiet part of the house. We liked the late check-out time as we could wait until the rain stopped to go cycling. Bed was very comfortable.

Everything was great, friendly welcome, was made to feel at home, great property with exceptional decor. Good coffee, breakfast Wi-fi, secure parking. Completely recommend. I used this as a stopover on my way to further south, found some good cycle routes in the evening and had some space in the morning to work before getting in the road again.

The position opposite the Abbey is perfect. The rooms at the back are very quiet(though not with a "garden view"!). There was a large, well-equipped kitchen and lots of living space for eg a group of friends. Very hot water. Comfortable bed with good lighting. There was a safe dry solution for bicycles too. Almost next door is an excellent and good value restaurant. La petite auberge. ( But check opening days)
