From the get go, the drive there was breathtaking. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and didn’t have to worry about a thing. Absolute Gem of a property, my fiance and I loved the location and the amenities. The view is incredible especially near the pool for sunsets. We had an amazing dinner prepared by the chef and it was exceptional. The staff were amazing. I will be coming back again to this beautiful beautiful home!

Everything, the most stunning apartment. Loved the views. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, with a washing machine now that was home away from home. Loved the attention to details in this place.

Set in Hout Bay, Poseidon Guest House offers accommodation with elevated views of the harbour and bay. This guesthouse has an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. Really nice accommodation with a fantastic view. Danie and Janni are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. They make you feel instantly at home and will do everything they can to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible – AND they make the most delicious breakfast!! We have stayed at other places in Hout Bay but this is definitely our favorite which is why we now keep coming back.

Dreamhouse Guest House is situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town. It offers endless mountain and sea views and features 2 salt-water swimming pools. Llandudno Beach is a 7-minute drive away. Ivanka and her team are wonderful! The view from our room was incredible and breakfast in the morning was a delight. It was evident that the staff pays attention to all the details to make sure the room was clean and well stocked to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Our stay at Bluemari's Retreat was an absolute delight from start to finish. It is a luxury retreat in every way... a beautiful house and garden in a quiet and safe location which exudes calm and serenity. All rooms are stylish and well equipped with comfy beds, quality bed linen and top notch bathrooms. The outdoor bath in Flamingo is fabulous. The pool area, dining room, lounge and library are beautiful too and we were made to feel so 'at home'. EVERYTHING is of the highest quality and EVERYWHERE is immaculate. Huge thanks to Jan and Evelyne who are superlative hosts, so charming and so efficient with great knowledge of the area. Serving the most delicious breakfasts including perfect poached eggs and omelettes, helping with recommendations for restaurants and adding many personal touches that made our stay so memorable. From homemade biscuits, a cellar of superb wines and a handy phone charger by the kettle to Christmas gifts and music on Christmas morning and an invitation to a braai on our last night. The best hotels just cannot match the style, charm and serenity of Bluemari's Retreat. If you are planning to stay near Cape Town, you must stay here!

Very steep driveway which was quite entertaining to drive :) A word of warning though: some cars (long, or with low suspension) might have problems going up the driveway.
