Best place we had in Zanzibar.Its new and really nice.We had our room on first floor whats give u interesting view and fresh breeze during tíme on open tarrace.Allways nice breakfast and really helpfull owners.. Everything. Mama Root has a wonderful set up that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding in the small village of Kizimkazi. The staff are all incredibly helpful and kind. The view is unparalleled. The meals were nourishing and delicious.

Ru introduced us to the rich flavors of Swahili cuisine—using incredibly fresh ingredients—and thanks to her, we fell in love with this food for the first time during our long trip. Marco oversees everything with care and calm, adding to the welcoming, homey atmosphere. Lucas and the gardener make sure the grounds/pool area are spotless and beautiful at all times. And then there’s Beth and Dullah, the amazing owners. They are simply wonderful—kind, helpful, full of great tips, and always ready to assist with anything from taxis to excursions. Their personal touch makes all the difference. If you're looking to experience Zanzibar at its very best, Mango Beach House is the place to be. We left with full hearts, relaxed minds, and memories we'll treasure forever. Highly recommended!

Set in Jambiani, in the middle of a local village , Zanzistar Lodge boasts a sun terrace with outdoor pool and is located just a short stroll away from the beach. A hidden gem in Jambiani Beach. For us, the decision on where to spend our 4 days in Jambiani was between three different hotels. I am so glad we decided to stay at Zanzistar Lodge. This was also by far the cheapest out of the three options. The value for money can´t be beaten. We especially enjoyed the outside hammocks, the beach, the breakfast, the staff, the drinks and the cozy banana garden. Peter, one of the two managers, personally showed us every room. The luggage was taken care of by the staff and we even were invited to a welcome drink as we arrived. The beach bar has excellent food, great drinks and a perfect beach vibe. The beach was our favorite of all the beaches on the island. We went to Matemwe, Nungwi, Kendwa and Kizimkazi, but Jambiani was by far our favorite. The numerous colors of green and blue in the ocean is just spectacular. Thank you to all the staff that went out of their way to make us feel at home and took care of all of our needs. Take good care of them, as it is the people that make places like Zanzistar Lodge worth every penny. For us, we personally enjoy the small boutique hotels over the big resorts. The hospitality here was nothing else than outstanding. We hope to be back sometime in the near future.

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Helwas Zanzibar Beach Hotel is located in Bwejuu. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. The breakfast was delicious with a local twist. It was served in the open dining area with beautiful decor and views of the sea. The staff were absolutely delightful. The location of the hotel is exceptional - right on Bwejuu beach which is quieter than neighbouring Paje. Paje is within easy reach along the beach or by taxi or tuktuk if you need to shop or us and ATM.

The Amka Guesthouse consists of two building complexes and is privately managed. We have kitchen staff and housekeeping to ensure your well-being and cleanliness. Guesthouse No. This place was beautiful! We loved that it was set back from the beach so it was quiet, yet we had easy access to the ocean and we had a wonderful view of the turquoise waters from our large covered balcony. The balcony was an extension of our huge and pleasant room. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was delivered to our balcony each morning. The owner was very kind! He allowed us to stay extra time, since our taxi wasn't arriving until after check-out time.

Situated on a private sand beach overlooking the Indian Ocean, Zanzibar House in Matemwe features a swimming pool and bar. Scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities are also available. The breakfast was plentiful, a buffet and you can order from the menu as well. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Had an incredible seafood risotto. This place is magical, artistically decorated, beautiful rooms & right on the gorgeous beach. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Francesco made sure I had everything I needed. Zanzibar House was a true oasis of peace & relaxation.
