The owners Lily and Hao were incredibly hospitable and kind. My husband and I did not have a car so they picked us up from Xincheng station and also dropped us off on our last day. They showed us where the bus was to Taroko National Park and they looked after us impeccably and perfectly. Lily brought us the most delicious breakfast every morning and they catered exceptionally for my vegetarian needs. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and very clean, as well as being extremely cosy and relaxing. Our room was the perfect size and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was very clean and decorated tastefully. We loved every second of our time there and will gladly go back! The location was also perfect for both Taroko National Park and for the beach, which we also visited.

Location was convenient. Check in and check out was very easy. And the room was actually fantastic for the price paid!

Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory Hotel mempunyai basikal percuma, taman, teres dan restoran di Guangfu. I really enjoyed my stay there. A traditional Japanese-style house for myself. I loved soaking in a Japanese-style bath. Breakfast was rustic but delicious. Nothing fancy and may not be for everyone, but it was a great experience! (As a Japanese, it reminded me of my grandma's old house.)

The room was as pictured. It was very big and felt like a home. My kids had a great time there. It’s very close to the train station and the bus stop into town was across the street. There are also plenty of places to eat a short walk away.

Most B&Bs provide shower gel and shampoo. B&B is located within walking distance to convenient stores and takeouts / restaurants. The night market is about 15 minute walk away.

We had to delay our booking by one day due to the typhoon and the owner was accommodating. The townhouse is beautiful and the room was very clean. We had a balcony with a view of the area and could see the sunset. Perfectly located at the back of the train station, just 5-10 mins’ walk.
