Dar Hamouda is a charming historical dar in the best and liveliest part of the Medina of Tunis. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The hosts (Mrs. Amel and her husband) were wonderful and very helpful. We particularly liked the joint breakfast where you could meet and talk to other guests at the dar. This is always a good opportunity to exchange experiences and meet people when travelling.

The room is very comfortable with a cosy bathroom. Everything is well supported by the staff. I also recommend the Dar El Jeld restaurant: beautiful location and high level food. We chose a hotel in the centre to have an authentic experience, and so it was. Super recommended

I loved the attention to detail: from the key holder to the bath amenities, everything is thoughtfully branded and curated. You don’t feel like you’re in a hotel — you feel like you’re visiting family. A very special thanks to Anne and Mario for welcoming us. They have a real gift for creating an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. <3 We can’t wait to come back — and we absolutely will. We’ve been to Hammamet and Tozeur, but when we return to Tunisia, it will be to La Marsa and to Villa EDO!
