I will stay here again when I return to that area. We truly enjoyed our stay. The owner was so hospitable and helpful in every way! Wonderful place!

Amazing value for the money. The host´s mum received us very well, lovely helpful lady! The location is great, close to everything in the village; quiet, we slept very well! Casa da Ribeirinha terletak di Sabugueiro, 20km dari Parque Natural Serra da Estrela dan 44km dari Pantai Buatan Mangualde Live. The fireplace was an incredible feature with the storm that was going on outside. The host was really nice and welcoming.

Located in the centre of Manteigas, Casa D’Avenida is a newly renovated family house, sited within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. We have never experienced greater hospitality than here. Josefa and Maria Lourdes are the perfect hosts. We had long and good conversations, although we don’t speak Portugese and they don’t speak much English -no problem. Breakfast was plentiful and of high quality; freshly squeezed orange juice and many different local cheeses as highlights. The possibility to have coffee and home baked cake whenever you wanted, the invitation to take snacks for the coming day from the breakfast buffé….kindness at its best. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Value for money is excellent and we highly recommend a stay at Casa d’Avenida. Obrigada Josefa and Maria Lourdes!

Woderful stay! Perfect location with plenty of shop's ,cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. Clean room with comfortable bed and sufficient water pressure in the shower! Highly recommend !

Located in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, this 19th century building of granite stone offers traditional rooms with balconies. If you want to experience the real Portugal, this is the place to stay. This isn’t just a hotel — it feels like a little fairy tale tucked away among the hills and beautiful valleys. Our cozy cottage had a huge window and a balcony overlooking a magical valley. In the evening, the sun gently lit up the mountains, and sheep with bells passed right under our windows — pure charm! There’s a small but fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare dinner and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nearby, a pool with panoramic views and cozy spots to relax complete the experience. Breakfast was amazing — fresh cheeses, homemade jams, tasty sausages, and excellent coffee, all made with care. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming people who clearly love their country. We felt completely at home. Friendly local dogs visited us, and our son didn’t want to say goodbye. We left feeling grateful and already dreaming of coming back. ❤️

Located at the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, in the town of Manteigas, this hotel offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. Free parking is possible on site. An amazing fireplace kept us warm on cold evenings — we spent all our time in front of it. The hostess (unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name) was kind and welcoming, and helped us with everything we needed. There’s also a large parking area, so no need to worry about that. I recommend to try goat cheese at the breakfast.
