The house is crazy beautiful with a wonderful garden and a huge mammut tree that looks like from the jungle. The whole estate looks like painted. Everything is very calm, the personal incredibly friendly (they made us a breakfast at 4:15!!), the breakfast very tasty and high quality, the room was beautiful with a wonderful view and and furniture full of Stil, we slept like babies. Eventho we were almost the only guests due to off season, they prepared the whirl pool for us, so we could go into the whirl pool under the stars. Whoever wants a extraordinary wonderful place to stay this is perfect and we can highly recommend it.

We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.

Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!
