This is the best hotel I've been to (and I've travelled a lot) if you want an off grid holiday somewhere peaceful, on a beautiful beach, super friendly team and owners. If you have a good book and like the ocean, you'll be happy here for days. There is intermittent cell signal (but strong signal with both smart and globe five mins up the beach). Starlink for much of the day. Battery powered fans and lights in the bedroom. Generator (not noisy) during day for charging devices and battery packs. You can absolutely remote work here. I loved how friendly the other guests were. It meant I could dip in and out of hanging in the cafe and reading my book or chatting to them and the owners. Very safe, with owners sleeping on site plus overnight security. Top tip, chat to owners before you book about what you want to get up to. They are amazing and will give you a frank answer about whats possible/realistic. Ultimately this isn't a five star all inclusive resort - it's a bit bouncy to get to and you don't have air con etc. But gosh it's amazing. I wish I'd stayed longer.

The place was exactly as described— very clean, comfortable, and instagrammable. It’s also high standard ( water quality, breakfast quality, amenities, wifi, AC) Rose, the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was good—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I really appreciated the little touches like getting fresh towels every two days, getting extra coffee, having the breakfast on time! I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I didn't expected a to find a place like that. The owner gave me an upgrade which was really kind. I was the only guest for that time so I felt like a VIP. During this time I spend a lot with the owner Dean. And I wanna say a special thank to Dean for this amazing time. I had the possibility to spend the whole time with Dean and his friend Christoph (also lives at Bucana Beach). Because of Dean we had a private boot and went to Nacpan Beach for snorkeling and barbecue. Also a special thank you to Chris (the cook, the driver and men for everythingI for driving me everywhere and to Shirley, she guided me through this time. Through Shirley I had the possibility to give a free dance workshop in High school from Bucana. I get touched with the locals which was amazing. If you are looking for a place to find peace, this place is definitely one of the best place on earth. Thank you Dean, Shirley, Chris and his son and Christoph for this amazing time which will always be in my heart and I will never forget! I didn't thought that a vacation turn into making friends! The staff and owners were genuinely warm and welcoming. The room was clean, simple, and had everything I needed. It was such a nice place to slow down—reading on the balcony or in bed, watching the sky shift throughout the day, especially during sunset, was such a quiet highlight. The beach is literally just a few steps away, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the shore. It’s also just a short ride to the town proper, with easy access to tours and other beautiful beaches nearby if you want to explore. A calm, easy place to unwind.

El Nido Beach is 90 metres from the guest house, while Caalan Beach is 600 metres from the property. El Nido Airport is 6 km away. I like it's location. Close to everything. Everything is just walking distance. Though it is located in the main street, you won't hear the noice as it is in the inner street. They are also very responsive to our requests. Only 2 outlet in the room so we asked for an extension cord that they immediately provide. We are supposed to check out on May 28, 12pm but since our bus to Puerto Princesa is not until 9pm so I asked if we can extens our stay until 8pm which was granted straight away for an additional cost of 500 pesos. I also like the fact that they have a water refilling and coffee station. Feels like home. Will definitely book this place again when visiting El Nido.
