The hotel is inside the old city. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was in traditional style with beautiful decorations. The stuff was extremely helpful and the owner was super friendly and he offer us a gift.

The room was incredible. One of the nicest I've stayed in because you can see the effort that went into designing it. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

We were thoroughly impressed with everything! The location is fantastic – so convenient to all the facilities and attractions Nizwa has to offer. Initially, the surrounding locality was a little unexpected, but as they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover!" The moment we arrived at Etra Inn, we were amazed. The hospitality provided by Mr. Saif was flawless. He was truly welcoming and helpful. The room itself was superb. It was incredibly spacious with beautifully maintained interiors. We especially appreciated the ensuite bathroom with the tub and readily available hot water. The inclusion of a kettle, fridge, coffee, tea, a spacious king-size bed, ample storage (wardrobe, drawers), and plenty of charging points made our stay incredibly comfortable. The convenient parking inside the compound was also a big plus. While the weather was a little warm, the effective AC and fan in the room ensured we were perfectly comfortable. The overall ambience of Etra Inn was excellent, and being so close to restaurants and the souq was incredibly convenient. After a long journey from Dubai, booking Etra Inn was absolutely worth it. The stay exceeded expectations and refreshed us considerably. We would highly recommend Etra Inn to anyone planning a trip to Oman and looking for comfortable, convenient, and welcoming accommodation in Nizwa. Kudos to the entire team at Etra Inn! Thank you so much for sharing your hospitality and making our trip so enjoyable. We would definitely love to book with you again should we plan another trip to Oman.

Very nice host welcomed us with dates and coffee/tea. The place itself is great, with a spectacular view, very comfortable room, clean, nice bathroom, terrace. In the evening can see the stars from your bed. In the morning a nice sunrise. Also had breakfast and dinner which the family prepared for our, delicious local food. One thing if you go, a 4x4 car might help, we did not make it all the way in our small car, but you can ask to be picked up.

The properly is well located with a great terrasse in rooftop. You have a wonderful view on the palmeraie of Al Hamra village. Also, you have access to a pool in a cave! What an experience We received a warmth and nice welcoming from all the team of Al Hamra. The breakfast was delicious! The room and bathroom were very clean and very confortable. BIG THANKS!

Beautifully renovated classic Omani house. It was our favourite place we stayed during our trip in Oman, and hope to be back again soon. Great dinner and incredible breakfast spread. Owner gave us good local recommendations of what to see in and around Al Hamra. Locally-sourced and all natural soaps in the bathrooms were a perfect added touch. Would recommend this as a must stay for any friends who ask for recommendations for Oman!

Terletak di Al Ḩamrāʼ, 44km dari Kubu Nizwa, Alqalah Inn menyediakan bilik dengan penyaman udara. Old Al Hamra is a delight and the Alqalah Inn was the crowning glory. Fabulously authentic, spotlessly clean with superb views from the spacious terrace. We were the only guests so it felt like we had a huge house to ourselves. However, the comfortable public spaces would also be great for sharing with fellow travellers too. Omani friendliness and hospitality at its best. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great staff! Very welcoming! Nice location! The balcony room is amazing! With dinner and breakfast included! Fantastic way to explore the ancient village. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend to stay here!
