Nirvana Kuti terletak di Kathmandu, 2.5km dari Swayambhu dan 3.5km dari Kuil Swayambhunath. I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

He personally guides his guests, free of charge, through the winding alleys of the historic city, revealing the hidden gems of the area and introducing them to local delicacies. His guesthouse also has a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home. In the evenings, the living room transforms into a gathering spot where travelers from all over connect and share stories. If you’re traveling alone or want to experience Bhaktapur from a local’s perspective, Shekhar’s Shared Home is the perfect place.

We love frequently highlight the exceptional helpfulness of the staff, who contribute significantly to a pleasant experience. Dondrub Guest House is located in the Boudhha district in Kathmandu, 800 metres from Boudhanath Stupa, one of Kathmandu’s most sacred Buddhist sites.Private parking is available on site. Excellent value for money. Helpful staff. Strong hot water shower. IF this Guesthouse weren’t owned by the Nunnery next door and staying here helps fund them, I would gate-keep this info to ensure easy room availability in the future!
