The owners/hosts were most hospitable, accessible, friendly and accommodating (this is a guest house so you will encounter them at some point). Check in was facilitated by the host, but if he wasn't there, self check-in would be easy to do. The house was beautiful with immaculate grounds. The place was easy to find and was less than 10 minutes by car to Hoorn Centrum and the train stations.

I had an excellent stay at this apartment. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early after a long flight, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the room was fantastic, and the location is perfect—within walking distance to both the city and the beach. There's also convenient car parking right in front of the complex. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return!

Beautifully laid out space for self catering and sleeping in very clean and fresh rooms. So lovely and chilled. A private sunny garden area with play grass areas. Wonderful kitchen prep area. Lots of room.

Situated at the harbour of Enkhuizen overlooking the IJsselmeer, Herberg de Compagnie offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. The city centre is only a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is located in a charming place. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel :)
