First off, I want to mention the amazing welcome we were given by our host, who guided us into the locked parking. He then explained the facilities, and told us how to get to the beach to see the sunset - and time was limited. Our room was truly enormous with a bed the size of an entire city. Needless to say we were very comfortable. Around the buildings there is plenty of space to relax, including a covered smoking area and another separate area to take you coffee or wine with candles. There is a large shared kitchen, but also the option to pay for a breakfast. The hotel is located within an easy walk of a fantastic beach AND an easy walk into the town

The place is just fantastic. There were everything you need. A great place for families as well as with friends. There is a small terrace where you can relax very comfortably. The hostess is very nice and helps with everything you need. Everything is prepared so that you can relax in both hot and cold weather. There are many ways for children to occupy themselves. It is also great that you can go swimming. It is possible to grill something (only coal is needed, the rest is already there). Showers and toilets very clean and tidy. A small kitchenette with everything you need is also available.

A wonderful, old, wooden building completely updated inside, but retaining a lot of the old features and character. Small bathroom, including heated towel rail and even a wee washing machine; large, well-equipped kitchen/sitting area; large bedroom with very comfy bed. There was a garden shared with the other apartments, including grass, table chairs and sun umbrella. Unfortunately it rained heavily while we were there, so didn't get to use them. Parking available right outside, on the strip between road and pavement/sidewalk. Although there was just the two of us, there was another single bed and the sofabed, so the apartment would suit a family of 4. Fantastic value too.

Pilsberģu krogs is situated in a quiet and green area, 300 metres from the sea shore and offers homely rooms with free Wi-Fi. The property houses a restaurant. Absolutely fantastic place and house. Cozy, old style, but very comfortable and quiet. The location is amazing- few meters from sea coast- beautiful, unspoiled spot… The host was helpful, nice and welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant is the best in the big region of Latvia- Kurzeme. Nice place to hike- to the coast of The Baltic Sea.
