The location is not far from the downtown area but far enough to have a relaxing stay. You can easily walk to small Adams Peak and the 9 arch bridge from there. The host was a wonderful gentleman who made sure my stay was an excellent one and provided me with useful information during my stay. He even arranged my transfer to Trincomalee which I appreciated. The room itself was very comfortable with a fan that kept the room at a nice temperature as the nights are cool.Nice bed and good hot water pressure.

Menawarkan taman dan teres, Wingate Homestay terletak di Ella, 4.9km dari Jambatan Demodara Nine Arch dan 49km dari Hakgala Botanical Garden. We had such a lovely stay at Wingate Homestay. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and she cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, always with plenty of fresh fruit – a real highlight of our stay! The room was charming and comfortable, with a mosquito net and a fan to keep things cool. The bathroom was modern and clean, with reliable hot water in the shower. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk into the main town, making it easy to explore Ella while still enjoying a peaceful setting. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time but ended up staying 3 nights because we liked it so much. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella!

The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Rock Grand View mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres dan restoran di Ella. View is amazing. I had a small balcony facing the mountain and a waterfall. Very peaceful place. Bed is very comfortable, room is clean and the area could get a bit chilly during the night which i love. It’s a nice short walk to the main town through the rail. The family’s running it is super nice. They always have good energy and very attentive. Would highly
