At the end of our Japanese adventure we were weighed down with more luggage than when we arrived, and the owner was kind enough to pick us up at the train station by car. The accommodations were beautiful with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were very cozy, ours even had a large TV. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It tends to be busier when there are more guests, but fortunately everyone respects the curfew. The guests very willingly and voluntarily transported us into town the next day, for which we thank them very much. The accommodation was right next to the konbini so a real win.

Attentive, helpful and kind, Yumiko will make sure your adventure is as good as it can be. If she suggests places to eat around the house be sure to follow them! best meal I had my whole trip.

Amazing value and had everything we needed. The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Would book this place again over a hotel any day

Guest House Zen terletak di tepi pantai di Yamanakako, 18km dari Fujikyu Highland dan 21km dari Tasik Kawaguchi. The most beautiful Japanese room I've stayed in, on a stunning location and so cheap! Too bad Fuji wasn't showing, but it did not detract from the whole experience. The host was so friendly and helpfull, thank you for your tips!

Their food, service and the extra efforts in making our stay comfortable made this 1 night stay memorable. The host dropped us off at the bus station 15 mins away on the next day to catch our bus to Mishima train station which was a bonus that I did not expect when making this

Lovely guesthouse run by a small family in a quiet street of Fujikawaguchiko. The host is very hospitable and although he speaks little english, he is good with technology and will help you out wherever he can. He prepared a welcome snack and drink when you check in. The tatami room is clean and spacious and if you are lucky, comes with a view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom is traditional and has a bath which is prepared for you every night. The location is around 20min walk from the main train station and is close to local shops.

I absolutely adored the style and decor of the house. It felt very special to be able to see how traditional meets modern, real life in this part of Japan. The family was so lovely and the whole area was just magical!
