The owner was such a lovely person, she went through the sightseeing of Nikko and showed us the house. The room was typical Japanese style with futon. She was so kind and prepared and offered a delicious breakfast, she also gave us an origami as fortune gift

"Feels like home" type of vibe! The location is right next to the station, so it is easy to travel around Nikko. There is a combini right next to the property in case you need anything. The house keeper is EXTREMELY friendly and will help give you reccomendations and even help you make a plan. I wish I could have stayed longer! It was truly a special experience.

Super kind host, it seems that she absolutely loves what she is doing. Very helpful, gave us a lot of information so we could easily navigate the area in no time, even drove us to town to start exploring. She made us tasty breakfast free of charge, asked what we like and it was no problem that we are vegetarian. Look up ikkigai – that's what you experience there in action.
