All necessary amenities were present in the common area. But what delighted us the most was the warm and welcoming host who knew everything about the area, and helped us with a lot of places in our itinerary in Japan. We had come a little early for the sakura season but told us exactly the place where we could see the full bloom. Even many local people we met weren't aware of that. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Shimoda. Thank you for your incredible hospitality 🙏🏻

The house was conveniently located within walking distance to the JR station, the coast and a large local onsen. The host and hostess were very friendly, dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the house/room was very clean and spacious. Highly recommended!
