Takeo Onsen is such a charming town, and Yujiro (and his family) made my stay there even more fantastic. Yujiro, the owner, contacted me even before my stay with amazing recommendations such as restaurants and attractions in Takeo Onsen area. He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

Close to a bus stop and out of the city so it’s quiet. Really nice host who has travelled the world and speaks perfect English. Highly recommended!

Terletak di Yanagawa, 19km dari Taman Bersejarah Yoshinogari, 柳川ゲストハウス 憩 (IKOI) menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan teres. We loved every second of our stay at IKOI in Yanagawa. The guest house was a lovely half hour walk from the train station along the canal in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved strolling around the area and it was easy to get to boat rides and restaurants nearby. IKOI itself is wonderful and had everything we needed. Warm room (can't say that about every place we have stayed at), super comfortable beds and other amenities in tip top condition. The view of the garden from the cafe is honestly worth the price alone, it's breathtaking. It's hard to believe you're not in the countryside when looking out that window. Finally, I have to dedicate a paragraph of this review to Jo, the owner. He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He helped us with figuring out transportation, he called a restaurant for us to help with a reservation and he recommended some local places that ended up being the highlight of our stay in Yanagawa. I cannot say enough great things about our host, just 10/10. Overall, our stay at IKOI was wonderful and I could not recommend this place more!

We loved watching the sunrise and the view of Sakura jima from the sitting room. So much love and artistic attention to detail has gone into this place. Coffee, tea, and cocoa are available and we received home-made muffins each morning. You could spend all day here and on the beach outside. Be sure to go to the cafe on the first floor which is run by the same organization and is also very artsy and bohemian.

The space is very well designed with all the things you need! It is located right in the middle of the town and it has a parking lot too! We were three and slept comfortably! The house is composed by an entrance/kitchen (with free coffee and tea ❤️) a bathroom area (toilet / shower / laundry machine) and the main room (bedroom / livingroom). The host was very nice and I would stay again in this house If I come to Arita anytime soon
