It’s in a more remote location, so it’s very peaceful. The couple running たね are so very kind, and their cooking is exceptional. Breakfast was so delicious. We wish we spoke better Japanese so we could have talked more. They were such interesting people.

Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. Joe was a great host, he even set up glasses and ice buckets for my partner and I to sit in the dining room to look out to the garden, which we did every night we were there.
