We feel so lucky to have met the hosts and been able to stay in this amazing home. Staying here is just an incredible experience, the home is stunning and fun to explore, the views are great and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our only wish is that we had stayed even longer.

Yoshi is the epitome of Japanese hospitality. Yoshi-sang is warm and welcoming from the beginning. We were greeted with some warm corn tea and Yoshi-sang enthusiastically introduced us to the nearby attractions/onsen and food options, with his self drawn map! We would love to have a bbq session at his very nicely decorated place if the weather is not cold. The onsen and food option Yoshi recommended is awesome. On the cold night, he also offered to prepare us some warm bottle to warm up the futons. Next morning, Yoshi also volunteered to defrost the windscreen as it was frosted overnight. He then made us nice dripped coffee and recommended us to take certain routes to visit daikanbo, the Aso crater and scenic route to Beppu. He even helped us to check the crater situation and weather forecast! Staying at Yoshi’s place and meeting him is definitely one of the highlight of our two weeks honeymoon trip. Thank you very much for the very wonderful stay!

Stunning view from the room! It was -3°C when I woke up at 7:30am, so cold and I decided to go back to sleep... but when I drew the curtain and looked outside, the scenery was amazing that I immediately grabbed my coat and gloves to take some pictures outside. The room itself was spacious if you're only traveling with your partner, it would be packed if you're a group of 3 to 4. Very clean and cozy. Everyone mentioned the breakfast so we ordered it too! Self-grown vegetables, homemade jam and yogurt... even the honey was from their own beebox! So healthy and natural food... We were truly amazed.

The host is the kindest host anyone could ever ask for. He made my stay very comfortable. He didn’t hesitate to provide needs and he even drove me with my luggages to my next destination. Terletak di Kikuchi, 18km dari Mata Air Panas Hirayama, 民泊サライ七城 menyediakan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan lounge berkongsi. We chose Kikuchi instead of Kumamoto, to get away from the city before our trip to Mt Aso. We got a lovely country house, but the main benefit was the lovely couple who hosted us. Super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed breakfast, my wife skipped hers, so the host packed it as a bento box for our lunch. Vegetables from the garden. A guided visit to the forest to see fireflies. Tastes of local food and drink. It was if we were lodging with my favourite aunt and uncle.
