Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Terletak di Yakushima, 10km dari Shiratani Unsuikyo, Yakushima Park Guesthouse menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan teres. The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

I had a warm welcome and amazing stay. I had mechanical problem on my bike and he lent me his own bicycle to visit Kakeromajima (beautiful !). My room was clear, fresh and super well equiped for a very good price. Arigato 🙏

I traveled alone and the owners of the place were always attentive to my itinerary and safety on the island. I didn't have a car, so I used the bus every day to move, and they were also very helpful with the time schedule. The room and shared spaces were extremely clean. I would definitely stay again in this place.

We spent great moments here. Inside the house, it is pretty warm. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.

The house is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I felt like a guest at a friend's house. The location is very convenient, close to the attractions in the south and west of the island. I chose to have breakfast and dinner for the two days I stayed there and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The best part of my stay had to do with the gracious hospitality of Yuki. Shortly after I booked, Yuki contacted me and offered helpful information about my stay and the importance of having a rental car. She even reserved a rental car for me when I could not find one myself, and she did not charge a fee. After I arrived, Yuki offered nice suggestions for things to do in Yakushima, all of which I took advantage of and had a wonderful time. Yuki even lent me her sarong so I could enjoy the hot spring pools by the sea. She also helped me call and cancel my ferry reservation after I changed my plans. I was so glad that I stayed at blue drop during my first two stays in Yakushima; it was a great start to my vacation. I highly recommend this beautiful place!
